In the lower decks of Limsa Lominsa, hidden away from the main paths is a tavern of relative size. It would be considered just another bar like many in the city if it wasn't for the crowd that spends their nights there. A criminal neutral ground. From pirates, to thieves, to organized bosses- anyone is welcome as long as they follow the rules.

The Backwash is an immersive RP NPC run venue set ICly in Limsa Lominsa. The venue caters mostly towards dark or mature RP. Though, any kinds of RP is welcome as long as it doesn't break the OOC rules.

18+
Due to the nature of RP that may happen at the venue, players and characters must be over 18.

IC consequences
It is as simple as "IC actions have IC consequences."
The IC rules can be broken but please expect there to be the same level of consequences to be taken if your character does break the rules.

Mature/Dark RP
This is a venue for criminals and the morally grey. Dark and mature themes will come up. I ask for people to use their own discretion on what is publically RPed but please act civil if someone asks for you to take a certain topic privately.

Explicit content
Anything explicit or bordering the line of explicit, be either violence, gore, or erotic, is NOT allowed inside the venue.
This also goes for glams. No explicit glams, modded or un-modded.
Lore
While the venue is not strict with its lore compliance, I ask that you respect others around you and keep things mostly within lore inside the venue. This does mean voidsent and other more lore bending characters are allowed but this does not mean they can ICly go around saying they are voidsent or anything else. This will be met with both an OOC warning and IC consequences.

It reads:

Management
The OOC owner is not the IC owner.
The IC owner is an elusive crazed fisherman while the entire bar is run by NPCs
The OOC owner is Ashton Crow
What does this mean?
※ The OOC owner will be managing the venue when it's open.
※There will be no player characters with the usual LFM or LFG tags in order to not confuse the OOC manager for IC.
※The OOC owner will be there to make sure the OOC rules are not broken and will be taking action if they are.
※There will be OOC announcements in /yell by the owner.
The NPCs are staff
